Idemitsu Australia (IA) has been operating in Australia since 1978 and owns coal mining operations throughout Queensland and New South Wales. Our combined operations support more than 1,000 local jobs and produce about 12 million tonnes per annum of thermal and semi-soft PCI coals for export, predominantly to Asian markets. We are continuing to develop our assets in Australia through existing operations and greenfield sites
