Idemitsu Australia has invested in Graphinex, a private exploration company developing the Esmeralda Graphite Project near Croydon in North West Queensland. The project aims to supply high-quality graphite products to the growing global battery market.
We are also working with Graphinex to explore further processing opportunities in Japan, drawing on Idemitsu’s energy infrastructure experience and networks. This partnership supports the development of sustainable battery technology and strengthens Australia’s role in the clean energy supply chain.
